Welcome to the procedure that will teach you how to create a Datasource of your Power BI and display your Dashboard on Corporate TV terminals.

Important: An account not assigned to any person must be created to set up the integration, e.g. "tvcorporativa@example.com", and this user cannot have two-factor authentication by SMS or Microsoft Authenticator, the format of two-factor allowed is described below. In case of On Premises scenario, the server must have access to Microsoft servers.
1) - Microsoft Account Permissions
Before you can configure the data resources in WorldVDS to display your Power BI dashboards, you will need to grant access permissions to WorldVDS in your Microsoft account.
1.1) Sign in with your Microsoft account at: https://myaccount.microsoft.com/
Logging in with your account, access the Permissions option. See the example below to open it:
1.2) Select "Update info" to change the authentication methods:
1.3) Add a new method by clicking on "+ Add sign in method":
1.4) Next, select the "Authenticator app" option and click on "Add":
1.5) When you click on add, select the option shown in the image below:
Regardless of whether you use the Google Authenticator app or the Microsoft Authenticator app, select "I want to use a different authenticator app".
1.6) In the next option, click on "Next":

On your phone: Install the Microsoft Authenticator App for Android / IOS Alternatively, install the Google Authenticator App for Android / IOS
Return to the Autheticator App page, and follow the instructions in the image below:
¹ Use the Microsoft Authenticator or Google Autheticator App to scan this QR Code on the side and display the OTP number.
² After configuring the App, click on the "Can't scan Image?" option.
³ Write down/copy this Secret Key, as it will be used later within the platform.
⁴ Click on Next.
1.8) Enter the six-digit code sent by the Authenticator App.
- If you are asked for a verification code, go to the App Authenticator on your phone and enter the number indicated. - Press the "Next" button to proceed
1.9) Finally, the following message will appear in the top right-hand corner:
Important
You will need to change the default authentication method to "App Based Authentication or hardware token - code". Only then will the system be able to access your Dashboard.
If you have followed the instructions above, it will be activated.
2) - Create a Datasource to access a Power BI Dashboard
2.1) Access the platform via the link: b2midia.com.br/login with your access data. Once there, click on "Data Source"¹, then "New Data Source"². When the page loads, select "Dashboards"³.
2.1) This will open a form to configure the Datasource (similar to the image below).
2.2) In the "Choose Dashboard Type"¹ field, select "Power BI"² to open all the "PowerBI" options.
2.3) Fill in the form fields:
(1) SizeX and SizeY: These fields will be the size of the resolution defined in the Playlist where the widget that will display this Dashboard will be inserted, i.e. the size of the screen.
(2) PowerBICompleteURL: Enter the full address of the Dashboard.
(3) MicrosoftUserEmail: Enter the user email of the Microsoft account.
(4) MicrosoftUserPassword: Enter the password for the Microsoft account.
(5) OTPSecret: Enter here the Secret Key that was copied from the image in the previous chapter.
(6) Press the "Create DataSource" button to create the configured Datasource
2.4) After creating the datasource, the system will display the following screen, indicating that the Datasource has been created:
3) - Configure the Dashboard Widget to show a Power BI Dashboard
3.1) To use the Power BI Dashboard widget on your terminals, open the playlist and zone where you want to place this dashboard and drag the "Dashboard" widget from the Free Widgets list (right menu, under "My Files") to the open playlist / zone.
Path: Free Widgets > Dashboards and Charts > Dashboard
3.2) Next you need to configure the Widget that was inserted into the playlist (click on the gear icon on the slide where the Widget was placed). (3)
3.3) Open the "Advanced configuration/Slide Advanced" option
- In the "Config" tab we have the following options
- (1) Dashboard: Field to select the Datasource created earlier.
- (2) Title: Enter the Title of your Dashboard.
- (3) Time for outdated message/Outdated Time: Set the time in minutes when the Dashboard is considered outdated.
- (4) Outdated Message: Set a message for when the Dashboard becomes outdated.
- (5) Text color: Text color that appears.
- (6) Background Color: Background color of the widget. This applies when the Dashboard does not fill the entire screen or when the outdated message is being displayed.
3.4) At the end, click on the "Save" button to save all the changes.
