In order for our Content Management application to be able to operate on an internal, restricted network, with an estimate of up to 250 licenses, it is necessary to have a local server with the specifications below:
- Operating System Red Hat 9.x (latest version available) / AlmaLinux 9.x (latest version available)
- Processor with 6 CPU cores;
- 6GB memory;
- 500GB Disk/Storage.
In addition to the availability of the server and in order to be able to proceed with its installation and configuration, it is necessary that, during the installation procedure, the machine has full access to the Internet, enabling all the necessary downloads and configurations. Once this process has been carried out, the appropriate network restrictions can be applied and the URLs relevant to the project can then be released:
It can be provided on either port 80 or port 443. - If port 443 is used, a valid and preferably not self-signed certificate must be provided. - If the certificate is self-signed, all devices will have to be updated with the new certificate, and there may be incompatibilities.
It will also be necessary to guarantee the following items:
- SSH and HTTP(S) access to the server
- User with root permissions
- Unrestricted internet access, at least at the time of installation
- Access to the following extra repositories:
crbepel
influxdata
remi-modular
remi-safe
rpmfusion-free-updates
rpmfusion-nonfree-updates
In order to keep the server up to date, access to the repositories must remain open even after installation.
