Hello, welcome to the procedure where you'll learn how to upload images and videos to our manager.
ATTENTION: To build your broadcast, you will need to upload some multimedia files. You can use most of the common multimedia formats: jpeg, png, gif, flv, swf, avi, mov, wmv, mp4, mp3 and p.
Make sure you have the right to transmit these files, so as not to violate the law, as these multimedia files may be copyrighted, the most recommended is to upload files in mp4 h264, for better file quality.
Step 1: To upload files, open the file manager by clicking on the blue button in the top right corner of the home screen:
Step 2: Select the folder you want to store the files you are going to upload:
Note: If no folder is selected, by default the upload will take place in the storage root, in this case My Files.
Step 3: With the folder selected, simply click on the "Upload" option.
Step 4: Click on "Add Files" and, after selecting the files, click on "Start Upload":
Step 5: Optimize videos for devices (optional):
If your project uses Raspberry Players, always click on the "Optimize videos for devices" option before uploading the Videos. This automatically brings the videos up to the recommended resolution (1280x720). The system will optimize the video in the background after uploading, after the process, the video is
Optimizations performed:
- Adjust resolution to HD (1280x720)
- Audio bitrate reduced to 128 Kbps
- Reduction of video bitrate to 2000 kbps average
- Use of the h264 main level 3.0 profile
Note: Images are automatically optimized regardless of this option. The size and resolution are adjusted, where resolutions higher than 1920x1080 are reduced to the Full HD standard while respecting the aspect ratio of the video.
If you have activated the optimization option, you will see this warning:
The video is available in your administration, but players will only download it when the conversion is complete. There will always be a warning to indicate that the conversion is taking place in the background. Examples:
Step 6: When the upload is complete, simply click on the "Close" button and the files will be available in the directory you selected earlier.
